In March, Cboe announced several exciting leadership changes, reported trading volume and shared new market insights.

Cboe Global Markets Reports Trading Volume for February 2022

Cboe reported its February 2022 trading volume on March 3. In February, total volume across Cboe's four options exchanges was 250.9 million contracts, the highest February volume on record. Total options ADV was 13.2 million contracts for the month. Additionally, trading in S&P 500 Index (SPX) options during Global Trading Hours (GTH) reached a new high in February, with a record ADV of 31,846 contracts. Cboe Announces Several Senior Leadership Changes

Cboe announced several senior leadership changes in March as the company prepares for continued global growth. David Howson, currently Executive Vice President at Cboe and President for Europe and Asia Pacific, will become President of Cboe Global Markets, effective May 12, 2022. Additionally, Ade Cordell, currently Senior Vice President and President of Cboe Netherlands, will become President, Asia Pacific; Natan Tiefenbrun, currently Senior Vice President and Head of European Equities at Cboe, will assume the role of President, Europe; Tim Lipscomb, currently Chief Operating Officer, Cboe Europe will become Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer; and Stephanie Renner, currently Chief Financial Officer, Cboe Europe, will become Senior Vice President, International Finance. Cboe Launches Nanos

Cboe launched Nanos on March 14, delivering a simpler, smaller options contract to make options trading nimbler and more affordable. Nanos has received a warm welcome to the market. Learn more about Nanos on Cboe Insights.

Cboe Appoints Stephen Berte as President of BIDS Trading

Stephen Berte will become President of BIDS Trading effective April 4, 2022. Berte has nearly twenty years of experience in equity trading and is joining BIDS from Tourmaline Partners, where he was a Managing Director and founded and led its Boston office. See the press release for more details.
