Change of Settlement Agent Bank in Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland

EuroCCP confirms a change of agent bank in the markets of Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.

This change will take effect from settlement date Monday 17 January 2022 and the newly appointed agents are:

  • Citibank Europe plc. organizacni slozka  - Czech Republic
  • Citibank Europe plc. Hungarian Branch - Hungary
  • Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. - Poland

The EuroCCP’s Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) for securities and cash will change. Clearing Participants are requested to update their records with effect from  Monday 17 January 2022.

Settlement Agent Power of Attorney

EuroCCP continue to support Settlement Agent POA services and ask Clearing Participants using this service to information their settlement agents accordingly.

Transition Planning:

  • All trades executed on trade date Thursday 13 January and Friday 14 January 2022 will be submitted for settlement using EuroCCP’s new SSIs early morning on Monday 17 January 2022
  • Effective trade date Thursday 13 January 2022 (trade date) trades must be submitted for settlement using EuroCCP’s new SSIs 
  • Trades instructed to settle up an until Friday 14 January at Deutsche Bank but failing in the market as at close of business Friday 14 January 2022, will remain with Deutsche Bank and not form part of the transition. We will work with you and Deutsche Bank until your trades have settled.  Please note that partials and split requests for trades due to settle up to and including Friday 14 January 2022 will be actioned
